Our Team.
Ignacio Uranga
Ignacio Uranga is the founder and CEO of Black Pampa, where he brings over 25 years of experience in leadership positions in high-impact public strategic projects. He is also currently the CEO & Founder of Smartvision Latin America, a consultancy dedicated to strategy and digital transformation in multinational companies. His previous experience includes roles as Advisor to the Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers in Buenos Aires, Member of the Cabinet of Innovation of the City of Buenos Aires, and CEO of Claxson Interactive Group in Brazil.
He holds a degree in Business Administration, an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and has completed executive studies at Singularity University.
Javier Diez
Javier Diez joins Black Pampa as a Senior Strategic Advisor, bringing extensive experience in leadership and strategic consulting. With a notable track record as the CEO of Capgemini and Vice President at Proguide Management Consulting, Javier has led significant projects in strategy and operations. At Black Pampa, he will apply his expertise in structuring and executing merger and acquisition strategies, contributing to the growth and consolidation of our firm on a global scale.
Javier is an Electronic Engineer graduated from the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology (ITBA) and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Institute of Higher Business Studies (IAE).
Augusto Granados
Augusto Granados joins Black Pampa as Head of Corporate Governance and Legal Affairs at our Miami office. With a solid background in the legal field, Augusto is a partner at Granados Davey LLP, where he specializes in strategic legal management and corporate governance. Additionally, he has previous experience as Legal Counsel at Fox Latin American Channels, where he contributed to strengthening the legal structure of media operations. At Black Pampa, Augusto will lead efforts to ensure that our operations and M&A strategies are conducted within legal and ethical frameworks, providing a solid foundation for our growth and expansion.
Augusto earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Illinois College of Law, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
Claudio Battilana
Claudio Battilana joins Black Pampa as Vice President & Senior Deal Leader, specializing in M&A for small and mid-sized enterprises (SMEs). He brings over 30 years of experience in service and mass consumption sectors, having built a solid corporate career in the commercial field. Claudio currently serves as Board Member at Conectio SRL, Infusiones SA, and Madre Tierra LTDA. He is also the founder of MARC, a firm that provides strategic commercial advisory to a diverse portfolio of organizations across multiple sectors.
A significant part of his professional journey has been dedicated to developing international markets, leading numerous assessments and playing a key role in the acquisition of companies in a broad range of industries.
Claudio holds a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Católica Argentina.
